Challenge #90 - Lilac, Blue, White & Kraft

Hello, and welcome to Colour Create Challenge! It's Sabrina here, and I'll be your hostess for Challenge #90!

First, we'd like to thank all those who entered for Challenge #89! The gallery is full of wonderful and inspired creations. This is normally where we announce a winner, but we will have everyone who entered the last challenge put into the hat, so to speak, with the people entering this time around in Challenge #90 for the monthly February random draw of the prize candy. Please forgive the wait Challenge 89er's. We loved looking at all of your creative entries and invite you to enter this challenge as well. That will give you two chances to win!

Now, on to the new challenge!

In December, when we were up to our ears in creating with red, white and green, I began to dream of designing something in a different colour, even though Christmas is my favourite time of year. I thought of the Snowdrops and Crocuses that come out in the early Spring. So while searching for an inspirational photo back then, I found this one on Pinterest and immediately thought of those simple and beautiful little flowers.

The colours for Challenge #90 are Lilac, Blue, White & Kraft. The optional part of the challenge is to create from paper a handmade charm to hang on your project. This paper charm could be a butterfly, flower, a letter or number, or even heart if you haven't had enough of those yet. It can hang from string, embroidery floss, very narrow ribbon, or a chain. Use your imagination and see if you can create some dimension to your paper charm.

Here is some further inspiration from our fantastic design team and their creative projects.

To be eligible for the prize you need to:

1. Please stick as closely to the challenge colours as possible
Lilac, Blue, White & Kraft
Remember if you choose to participate in the optional additional challenge,
the charm must be handmade from paper and hanging on your project,
although this additional challenge is not necessary to participate in for a chance of winning
 2. Create something new - no back-linking
 3. Make sure to link back to our challenge by 6pm UK time on 29th February 2012.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our challenge and we hope you are all fired up to participate!

We look forward to visiting your blogs to view your inspired and creative entries!
